The Zero Award winners’ workshop in Cairo: Three culturally mixed teams were formed and ideas for common projects were brainstormed and selected.
The final international Zero Award 2012 ceremony presenting the three winners from each of the national competitions was held in Weimar in December 2012
Textiles in Architecture workshop in Cairo 2013: Using parametric tools, participants were be able to analyse the integrity of the textiles and design them according to structurally and environmentally sound principles.
Investigations about how textile art and design can interact with buildings, as regards parameters like shading and cooling, heat and noise insulation, were conducted.
