The third edition of the annual africa re:load convention again took place in the month of July on the Campus of the Bauhaus University in Weimar, organised and curated by icebauhaus.
The event tool place during three warm summer days, enabling a smooth transition between in- and outdoor facilities of the campus, including evening cultural program in the town of Weimar.
The africa re:load 2013 program was based on active participation by the participants. The three sub-tracks were curated by experts of each field: education, urban development and migration. The annual “Summaery” exhibition of the Bauhaus University offered additional opportunities to experience the creative output of the Bauhaus students in different stations across campus.
Beside networking international participants from the academic, private and development cooperation sectors, the event represents an opportunity for members of the icehubs in Germany, Ethiopia and Egypt to gather and update each other on latest events in the network.
